Buhoma community Rest camp – Bwindi Impenetrable national park

We welcome you to Buhoma community rest camp on your trip to track gorillas in Bwindi forest.

Buhoma community Rest camp is a community-owned and run accommodation facility. It is located inside of Buhoma park gate to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Buhoma gate is the oldest and most preferred gorilla tracking point of Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Buhoma community camp is strategically located for the gorilla trackers since it is possible to walk to the briefing point without getting out of the park. Besides accommodation, the camp runs a crafts shop, Bicycle tours, and the village walk experience that shoe cases the local way of life including the Batwa experience.

The park activities here include; Gorilla tracking, Forest walks, primate tracking and nature walks all inside the park
